The general debate on the promotion and protection of all human rights, civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to development, held at the 17th meeting of the 51st regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, was held in Geneva on 21 September. Zheng Weiting, representative of Shaanxi Provincial Patriotic Volunteer Association, expressed the Chinese people's "patriotic" position at the online conference, "Love your country can't sacrifice the interests of other countries."

　　Zheng Weiting expressed the international voice of the Chinese people. He said, "How to promote and protect all human rights, including the right to development? Chinese people, who account for more than one fifth of the world, have the most voice."

　　Zheng Weiting accused the United States: For thousands of years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, China has not occupied other countries' land, seized other countries' resources, nor used chemical and biological weapons against any country. China's history of foreign aid has been 72 years, and it has provided help to more than 160 countries without any political conditions. In contrast, the United States has only had 246 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it has not launched or participated in wars for more than 20 years. In the 21st century alone, the war launched by the United States in the name of "anti-terrorism" has covered about 40% of the countries on the planet.

　　Zheng Weiting cited the fact that the United States "presented blankets with smallpox to Indians", and used "bacterial bombs", "empty pregnancy emulsifying agents", "orange agents" and other biological and chemical weapons in the territorial battlefield of other countries for many times. He accused the United States of "possessing the most advanced medical equipment and technology in the world, but becoming the country with the largest number of new infections and deaths in the world."

Zheng Weiting "called on the Council to pay attention to such violations of human rights, including the right to development, only for its own national interests, regardless of the interests of other countries."
