The 2024 IPPO UN Forum was successfully held in Conference Room VIII of the United Nations Office at Geneva

2024年6月20日，由陕西省爱国主义志愿者协会主办的“中国对2030年可持续发展目标的贡献研讨会“，暨2024年国际爱国公约组织（IPPO）联合国论坛在联合国日内瓦办事处第八会议室成功举行。此次会议汇聚了来自美国、俄罗斯、英国、法国、瑞士、印度、阿联酋、尼日利亚、巴基斯坦、安提瓜和巴布达、伊拉克、科特迪瓦、布基纳法索、黎巴嫩、埃塞俄比亚等15个国家的非政府组织代表，共同研讨中国在推动全球可持续发展方面的贡献与努力。

On June 20th, 2024, the "Seminar on China's Contribution to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals," hosted by the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association, and the 2024 International Patriotic PACT Organization (IPPO) United Nations Forum were successfully held in the Eighth Conference Room of the United Nations Office at Geneva. This event brought together representatives from non-governmental organizations from 15 countries, including the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, India, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Pakistan, Antigua and Barbuda, Iraq, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, and Ethiopia, to jointly discuss China's contributions and efforts in promoting global sustainable development.

会议伊始，陕西省爱国主义志愿者协会代表崔国卫致辞，他代表协会对与会代表表示热烈欢迎，并感谢联合国日内瓦办事处非政府组织秘书处工作人员的大力支持和耐心指导。崔国卫指出，陕西省爱国主义志愿者协会自成立之初，就致力于“热爱自己的国家，不能牺牲他国利益”的国际爱国理念的宣传推广，并倡导各国在发展中尊重他国主权，维护国际公平正义。

At the beginning of the meeting, Cui Guowei, a representative of the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association, delivered a speech. He extended a warm welcome to the participating representatives and expressed gratitude to the staff of the Non-Governmental Organizations Section of the United Nations Office at Geneva for their strong support and patient guidance. Cui Guowei pointed out that since its inception, the Shaanxi Patriotic Volunteer Association has been dedicated to promoting the international patriotic concept of "loving one's own country without sacrificing the interests of other countries" and advocating that all countries respect the sovereignty of other countries and uphold international fairness and justice in their development.

在发言中，国际爱国公约组织（IPPO）发起人、尼日利亚宝石爱心基金会（Gems Heart One Love Foundation）会长 Adeyemi Oludele 表示，乌克兰正在经历战争带来的痛苦，强调实现全球和平需要正义、相互尊重和公平。IPPO则致力于促进国际爱国主义，培养具有国际视野的全球公民，并呼吁各国政府和非政府组织共同支持IPPO，共同应对全球性挑战。

In his speech, Adeyemi Oludele, the initiator of the International Patriotic PACT Organization (IPPO) and the President of the Gems Heart One Love Foundation from Nigeria, expressed that Ukraine is currently enduring the pain brought by war and emphasized that achieving global peace requires justice, mutual respect, and fairness. IPPO is committed to promoting international patriotism, fostering global citizens with an international perspective, and urging governments and non-governmental organizations worldwide to jointly support IPPO in addressing global challenges together.

瑞士共识基金会（Geneva Consensus Foundation）创始人 Ruzanna Tarverdyan 强调了中国在可持续发展目标中的重要作用，指出中国为全球环境治理、应对气候变化等方面做出了显著贡献。她呼吁各国加强合作，共同实现全球可持续发展目标。

Ruzanna Tarverdyan, the founder of the Geneva Consensus Foundation from Switzerland, highlighted China's significant role in sustainable development goals and pointed out that China has made remarkable contributions to global environmental governance and climate change mitigation. She called on all countries to strengthen cooperation and work together to achieve global sustainable development goals.

此外，其他非政府组织代表也积极发言，交流各自对中国在可持续发展方面的认识和贡献，并明确表示对IPPO理念的支持和认同。

Additionally, representatives from other non-governmental organizations also actively spoke, sharing their understanding of and acknowledging China's contributions to sustainable development, and explicitly expressing their support and identification with the IPPO's philosophy.

会议最后，崔国卫代表主办方再次感谢各位代表的参与和支持，并期待未来能够有更多的非政府组织加入到国际爱国公约组织（IPPO）的行列中，共同为构建一个更加公正、和谐的世界贡献力量。

At the conclusion of the meeting, Cui Guowei, representing the host, once again thanked all the representatives for their participation and support. He looked forward to seeing more non-governmental organizations join the ranks of the International Patriotic PACT Organization (IPPO) in the future, working together to contribute to building a more just and harmonious world.

The successful hosting of this seminar fully demonstrated the cohesion and influence of the IPPO, and also provided a valuable opportunity for non-governmental organizations dedicated to peace worldwide to exchange and cooperate. Through deep discussions and experience sharing, the participating representatives gained a clearer understanding of the International Patriotic PACT Initiative and the future direction of sustainable development.
